Matt Kellett was born in London and attended high school on the Isle of Wight. Returning to London with pal Razzle (of Hanoi Rocks fame) he played guitar for legendary American rocker Johnny Thunders of the New York Dolls. He performed with Thunders in Britain, Europe and America and appears on the singer's last album before his untimely death in New Orleans. He also recorded three albums and several singles (for Jungle Records) with London indie band the Fallen Angels.

The Stars Like Dust marks his return to the recording world and includes the single Knighton Revels (previously released on Solent Records)
